Db2 Database Engineer - Cloud Migration Project

Salary: 800-950 PLN/day on B2B Work model: elastic hybrid from Gdynia / Gdańsk / Warszawa / Łódź (at least 2 days per week from the office)   Why choose this offer? • You can expect a flexible work organization • The international work environment will give you the opportunity to interact with the English language on a daily basis • Scandinavian organizational culture will provide you with work-life balance, you will gain time for additional training (financed by Jit) • The Jit community will bring you a nice time during regular integration meetings   Project You will be involved in a financial project focused on supporting the operation and migration of IBM Db2 databases in a hybrid environment, contributing to the broader VMware exit and cloud migration strategy.   Responsibilities you'll have • Support Db2 databases in on-premises and cloud-target environments • Participate in migration planning and execution related to cloud initiatives • Perform database administration tasks, upgrades, and maintenance • Troubleshoot incidents and performance issues • Support compliance, risk, and audit requirements • Collaborate closely with platform, cloud, and application teams • Maintain documentation and operational runbooks   Expected competences and knowledge • Hands-on experience as a Db2 DBA / Database Engineer • Strong knowledge of Db2 on Linux/Unix platforms • Experience in enterprise Db2 environments • Exposure to cloud or hybrid deployments (Google Cloud preferred) • Experience supporting critical systems in regulated environments • Readiness to work from the office when needed (remote work allowed)   Technologies you'll work with • IBM Db2 • Linux/Unix platforms • Google Cloud Platform (GCP) • Hybrid cloud environments • Database migration and modernization tools • Automation and scripting tools   Client – why choose this particular client from the Jit portfolio?
