ETL/Data Engineer (strong in IBM DataStage)

O projekcie: Offer - Opportunity to join an international banking project - Work on ETL development and data migration in a complex data environment - Collaboration with cross-functional teams in an Agile setup - Hybrid work model: 3 days per week from the office in Gdańsk, Gdynia, or Warsaw - B2B / subcontractor cooperation - 6-month contract with possible extension - Work in a role with strong exposure to data integration, ETL flows, and database-heavy development Wymagania: - Commercial experience as an ETL / Data Engineer - Hands-on experience with IBM DataStage - Experience with Informatica or similar ETL / data integration tools will be an advantage - Very good knowledge of SQL, PLSQL, and Oracle DB - Experience in building ETL flows for data migration - Understanding of data warehousing and data mesh concepts - Good understanding of data modelling - Experience with Git for version control - Experience working in Scrum / SAFe and self-managing teams - Strong communication skills and ability to work with stakeholders - Fluent English, both written and spoken - Attention to detail and focus on code quality Codzienne zadania: - Work as part of a Scrum team on a data-focused banking project - Develop ETL flows to support data migration processes - Monitor and optimize ETL jobs for performance, stability, and efficiency - Analyze mapping documents and data integration requirements - Collaborate with team members and stakeholders to ensure a clear understanding of business and technical needs - Keep technical and development documentation up to date - Contribute to data integration work with attention to quality and detail
