Job Description Main tasks: The Operating Office - Database Administrator (DBA) is responsible for the setup, operation, maintenance, and reliability of databases used for IT service operations and ITSM processes. This role focuses exclusively on operation-relevant databases supporting service management, monitoring, reporting, and operational tooling. The DBA ensures that these databases are stable, performant, secure, and compliant with operational standards, enabling reliable service operations across the IT service management and operations landscape. The role is hands-on and operational and does not cover product or application databases, nor advisory activities for product teams. * Please be informed that our remote working possibility is only available within Hungary due to European taxation regulation. Wymagania: Qualifications Required deep knowledge: - PostgreSQL - PostgreSQL HA Setup - PostgreSQL Replication in other regions - SQL - SQL Performance Analysis and Optimization - PgBouncer - Enterprise DB - Oracle - ITIL / IT Service Management Basic knowledge: - ISO/IEC 20000 - ISO 27001 - Trend & Root Cause Interpretation - Enterprise Architecture - IT Architecture Additional Information - High level of English knowledge - German knowledge is nice to have Personality: - Cross-team collaboration - Creative problem solving - Critical thinking - Proactive personality - Openness to change and continuous learning - Accountability & ownership mindset Codzienne zadania: - Operational Database Setup & Maintenance: Designs, installs, configures, and maintains databases required for IT service operations and ITSM tooling - Database Operations & Stability: Ensures stable day-to-day database operations, including availability, performance, and data integrity - Monitoring & Performance Control: Implements and maintains monitoring, alerting, and performance analysis for operations-relevant databases, in alignment with central monitoring standards - Incident & Recovery Support: Provides hands-on support for database-related operational incidents and recovery activities - Backup, Restore & Continuity: Maintains backup, restore, and recovery mechanisms for ITSM and operations databases - Operational Standards & Compliance: Applies defined operational standards, procedures, and documentation for database operations
