We are looking for an experienced Expert Snowflake Engineer to join a project for a client in the healthcare sector. This is an excellent opportunity to take ownership of the architecture and development of a Snowflake environment while working with a modern cloud data stack in an Agile environment.
The project is 100% remote, delivered in SCRUM (3-week sprints), using Snowflake, dbt, AWS, Azure DevOps/Jira, and Confluence.
Details:
• Contract type: B2B
• First engagement: 95 working days; duration: August – December 2026 (with the possibility of extension)
• Planned onboarding: no later than mid-August 2026
Your responsibilities
• Design and develop the Snowflake architecture for the project.
• Build and enhance the Snowflake environment.
• Design and implement ETL/ELT processes.
• Create and maintain technical documentation.
• Collaborate with the project team in an Agile/SCRUM environment.
Requirements
• Expert-level knowledge of Snowflake, including:• architecture,
• schema design,
• performance tuning,
• clustering,
• data sharing.
• Strong knowledge of dbt Cloud and experience migrating to dbt Core.
• Experience designing and building ETL/ELT processes.
• Advanced SQL skills, including complex transformations, window functions, and query optimisation.
• Experience with data modelling, including star schema and raw/staging/marts layers.
• Experience with security and data governance, including RBAC, Row-Level Security, and access management.
• Experience working in Agile/SCRUM environments.
• Ability to create technical documentation.
• Very good command of English.

• Apache Airflow.
• dbt Core.
• dbt on Snowflake (Dynamic Tables, Snowpark Python, incremental models).
• AWS.
• Python.
• Confluence.
