About the Role
We are looking for an experienced Microsoft Fabric Data Engineer to support our client with ongoing data engineering activities during a busy period in November and December.
This is a remote, part-time engagement requiring approximately 3–4 days per week. The role combines hands-on data engineering with customer-facing technical discussions, making it an excellent opportunity for an engineer who can deliver technical expertise while communicating effectively with clients.
Key Responsibilities
• Provide senior-level data engineering support using Microsoft Fabric.
• Handle ongoing and incoming data engineering requests.
• Participate in customer-facing technical discussions and meetings.
• Provide technical guidance on data engineering requirements, architecture, and potential solutions.
• Support the client in responding to customer demand by contributing hands-on engineering expertise.
• Work closely with stakeholders to clarify technical needs and support effective delivery.
Requirements
• Proven experience in data engineering, preferably at a senior level.
• Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Fabric.
• Ability to work independently and manage incoming data engineering requests.
• Strong communication skills and confidence in customer-facing technical discussions.
• Good command of English (B2 level or higher).
• Availability for approximately 3–4 days per week throughout the engagement.
Nice to Have
• Previous experience in fractional, part-time, or flexible consulting engagements.
• Experience combining hands-on data engineering with customer-facing technical support.
