Nasze wymagania: 7+ years’ experience leading data quality initiatives with clearly demonstrable outcomes. Strong knowledge of data governance/management and tooling for documenting artefacts (e.g., data models, data dictionaries, Collibra). Solid understanding of the data and analytics delivery lifecycle, including data modelling, SQL fluency, and familiarity with data science concepts. Highly analytical, with a strong grasp of the value of data and the ability to apply technology solutions to meet business needs. Resourceful and inquisitive, able to build subject matter expertise quickly and tackle complex problems creatively. Proven ability to operate in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple deliverables while showing resilience, ownership, and accountability through to resolution. Strong project management capability, able to drive cross-functional delivery within time, cost, and quality constraints (including influencing without authority). Confident communicator and trusted advisor to senior stakeholders—able to negotiate, challenge constructively, and translate technical concepts for non-technical audiences in a global, regulated environment (data privacy awareness; GCP/QlikSense and architecture/process mapping knowledge preferred). O projekcie: This role is responsible for helping the Global Procurement function make better, data-driven decisions and drive mission critical business outcomes through unlocking business value from data. This is typically through complex data analysis, developing insights, high-quality reusable data assets and deploying artificial intelligence capabilities. We take a customer centric and consultative approach to develop business insights that that help HSBC’s senior leaders answer business critical questions such as: • How do we create value in our supply chain and drive efficiency in our operations? • How do we more effectively manage risk in our supply chain? • How do we partner with our suppliers to drive towards net-zero? The Data Quality Lead is key member of the Global Procurement Data & Analytics leadership team responsible for the Data Quality capability aligned to HSBC’s Data management & governance standards. The insights the team provide to help senior leaders make key decisions are only as good as the underlying data. It’s essential that this data foundation is robust & trusted to unlock value; this is especially true and non-negotiable when it comes to adopting AI. This role is a focal point and champion for all things data quality and requires nurturing trusted and productive working relationships across procurement especially global process owners, operations & digital platforms. There is also close collaboration with the Data & Architecture Office (DAO), IT and both internal system owners and external data vendors. Zakres obowiązków: Own the Global Procurement Data Quality (DQ) framework (standards, critical data elements, controls, and scorecards) aligned to HSBC data governance expectations. Set DQ improvement priorities; coordinate delivery, track progress, and report outcomes to senior stakeholders, linking impacts to business KPIs. Maintain a rules library for key processes and proactively monitor DQ via dashboards/automated controls; identify new issues, prioritise, and lead root-cause analysis with process owners to agree remediation. Build strong partnerships across Procurement, Technology, and data governance to embed DQ into day-to-day operations; establish and run cross-functional working groups and provide updates via the Procurement Design Authority. Ensure change and transformation programmes incorporate DQ and data integrity activities in plans, with quantitative outcomes agreed and signed off at design stage. Define practical “ready for AI” criteria (lineage, stability, metadata) for procurement datasets and certify compliance before use in AI use cases. Design and oversee a Data Drift Monitoring framework to protect ML model integrity and detect model decay early. Act as a trusted advisor and representative for Global Procurement: lead complex problem-solving with ExCo+1 stakeholders, transform DQ reporting into action-led insights tied to operational risk/business impact, and share best practice via bank-wide DQ forums.
