IT Analyst

As an IT Analyst, you will support the design and delivery of advanced data and analytics solutions that enable high-quality data products and drive business decision-making across the organisation. You will work closely with business stakeholders and cross-functional Agile teams to translate complex requirements into scalable, end-to-end data solutions, ensuring strong data quality, governance and integration across multiple systems. The project operates in a Big Data ecosystem and supports continuous platform development, optimisation and alignment with strategic banking objectives.   Responsibilities you'll have • Act as a bridge between business stakeholders and development teams to ensure delivery of high-quality IT solutions • Contribute to building and/or rebuilding the Bank’s Data Platform • Collaborate on the development and enhancement of data products • Design and shape advanced data and analytics solutions • Gather, analyse and clarify business requirements in close cooperation with stakeholders across the organisation • Translate business needs into clear features and user stories • Manage delivery dependencies across teams and organisational units • Work as an integral part of a cross-functional Agile delivery team • Drive end-to-end solution design for complex processes and systems • Support data quality, data hygiene and analytical initiatives   Expected competences and knowledge • Strong knowledge of SQL (mandatory) • Experience working with complex requirements and translating them into technical solutions • Hands-on experience in data analysis, data quality and data hygiene • Experience working with Hive • Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills • Ability to take ownership of tasks, features and user stories • Strong communication skills and experience working with business users • Solid understanding of basic concepts in machine learning, CI/CD pipelines and big data • Ability to quickly grasp new technologies at a high level and ask relevant questions • Solution-oriented mindset and ability to work effectively with complex end-to-end solutions Nice to have • Python • Spark • Banking domain knowledge • Extensive experience in SQL (reading and writing code), data analysis and solution design • 10+ years of relevant professional experience   Technologies you'll work with • SQL • Jira/Confluence • UML, BPMN • Hive • CI/CD pipelines • Python • Spark • Big Data technologies   Client – why choose this particular client from the Jit portfolio?
