IT Analyst (business, tax, and banking)

emagine is looking for an IT analyst who will play a vital role in analyzing and documenting business, tax, and regulatory requirements for a client in the banking industry. This position demands a strong background as an IT Analyst or Technical Business Analyst, especially in financial services or regulated industries. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of system integrations and a proven ability to articulate clear IT deliverables for modern ESP-based platforms. Main Responsibilities • Analyze and document business, tax, and regulatory requirements for investment products • Translate requirements into clear IT deliverables like features, user stories, and acceptance criteria • Ensure consistency and traceability of requirements across solutions • Work collaboratively with Product Owners, solution architects, and development teams • Analyze data needs across the product lifecycle including accounts and transactions • Support alignment with Nordic data platforms and reporting accuracy • Contribute to solution documentation for ESP-based architectures • Assist in transitioning from legacy systems to modern ESP platforms. Key Requirements • Proven experience as an IT Analyst or Technical Business Analyst • Experience within financial services and regulated industries • Experience with complex solutions across multiple countries or markets • Solid understanding of system integrations, APIs, and data flows in modern platform or microservice‑based environments (ESP) • Comfortable collaborating with solution architects and development teams • Analytical, structured, and detail-oriented mindset • Strong communication skills in English (Nordic languages are a plus) • Able to balance short-term delivery needs with long-term perspectives.
