General info: Industry: banking Model of work: hybrid (2 days per week work from office in Gdańsk) Rate: 130 - 150 PLN net + vat/ hour Type of contract: B2B contract Introduction & Summary We are seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the field of IT Financial Management. The ideal candidate will have over 5 years of experience in IT financial management or a related consulting domain, showcasing a strong track record in process improvement and organizational development. A high level of proficiency in Microsoft Excel and data analysis tools is essential, along with a comprehensive understanding of financial forecasting, budgeting, and compliance. Main Responsibilities The consultant will be responsible for analyzing and enhancing financial processes to drive efficiency and accuracy. • Analyze current financial forecasting, budgeting, and compliance processes. • Design and implement enhanced workflows for invoice validation and financial tracking. • Develop standardized procedures for dashboard updates and internal documentation. • Create best practices for multi-task management in fast-paced environments. • Facilitate knowledge sharing sessions on financial management principles. • Provide guidance on advanced Excel techniques and data analysis methodologies. • Support team development/analysis in database management systems. • Mentor existing staff on investigative and analytical approaches. • Recommend tools and technologies to enhance accuracy and efficiency. • Provide insights on Markets business operations (FX, Derivatives, Equities) integration. Key Requirements • 5+ years of experience in IT financial management or related consulting. • Proven track record in process improvement and organizational development. • Expert-level proficiency in Microsoft Excel and data analysis tools. • Strong background in financial forecasting, budgeting, and compliance. • Experience with database management systems and dashboard development. • Excellent facilitation and knowledge transfer skills. Nice to Have • Experience in financial services, particularly Markets business. • Background in Front Office technology environments. • Certification in process improvement methodologies (Six Sigma, Lean, etc.). • Experience with trading platform infrastructure. • Previous consulting experience in Nordic banking sector. Other Details This position is based in Poland, specifically Gdańsk. Proficiency in English is required.
