Lead Data Engineer

O projekcie: We are looking for experienced team player to fill the position of Lead Data Engineer and participate in our up-and-coming project for our client from the banking industry. - Mostly remote (1 day from Warsaw office 1-2 months) - Professional training programs – including Udemy and other development plans Wymagania: - 7+ years in Big Data systems and data management (5+ years for Senior Data Engineer role). - 3+ years of hands-on experience with Scala/Spark. - Proficiency with Hive, Airflow, Cloudera, and Data Platform. - At least 2 years of experience leading development teams with strong communication skills. - Hands-on experience with cloud deployments and a deep understanding of dimensional data modeling. - Fluent English (at least C1 level). - Bachelor’s degree in a technical or mathematical field. Nice-to-Have: - Control-M, GitHub Actions, and Bash scripting. - Knowledge of Kafka, Docker, Kubernetes, or OpenShift. - Familiarity with Sonar, Fortify, and cybersecurity best practices. - Experience with microservices, REST APIs, and modern web technologies (NodeJS, React).
