Our Client is a EU-related public sector organization currently seeking a Microsoft Database Administrator to join their team. - Salary: between 180-200 PLN/hour net + VAT (B2B) - Location: Warsaw/hybrid - Language: communication in English daily - On-call duties- Long-term and stable cooperation - Opportunity to work in highly secure and enterprise-scale environments - Participation in international and mission-critical projects - Hybrid work model - Exposure to Microsoft Fabric and modern data platforms - Additional benefits package (private healthcare, sports card, etc.) - Structured processes and mature IT governance environment Wymagania: - Proven experience in administration of complex Microsoft SQL Server environments deployed across distributed infrastructures - Strong expertise in database performance optimization, tuning, and capacity planning - Hands-on experience with scripting MS SQL databases, data transformations, ETL processes, and cloud-based data services - Experience in design, implementation, and maintenance of Microsoft Business Intelligence on-premises tools and services - Experience in design, implementation, and maintenance of Microsoft Fabric tools and services - Hands-on experience with database and infrastructure monitoring solutions - Practical experience in administering virtualized environments - Basic knowledge of other Microsoft systems and services - Experience working in restricted/security-controlled environments - Hands-on experience with Active Directory tiering models - Knowledge of DBPlus Performance Monitor application - Experience in creating and managing SQL Server Always On deployments - Strong understanding of SQL Server recovery models (Full, Simple, Bulk-Logged) and disaster recovery methodologies - Expertise in performance troubleshooting using SQL Profiler, Execution Plans, and Dynamic Management Views (DMVs) - Valid personal security clearance at RESTREINT UE / EU RESTRICTED level (or higher) is required from the first day of assignment Codzienne zadania: - Administration and monitoring of MS SQL-based database services - Providing 2nd line support for database-related issues and operations - Troubleshooting and resolving database incidents and performance bottlenecks - Deploying and maintaining database environments - Performing data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) activities - Planning database capacity and availability - Tuning and optimizing database performance - Implementing changes in accordance with ICT change management procedures - Monitoring database health, performance, and availability - Managing database incidents and supporting recovery activities - Updating technical documentation and operational procedures - Preparing reports related to ongoing activities and support tasks - Performing additional duties assigned by the supervisor
