Mid-Level Business Analyst – Banking and Financial IT Projects

Łódź-based opportunity with hybrid work model (2 days in the office/month).As a Business Analyst, you will be working for our client, a leading organization in the online banking sector dedicated to delivering innovative digital solutions for accounts and savings products. You will play a crucial role in supporting complex IT and business initiatives focused on modernizing core banking systems and enhancing customer-facing financial services. By collaborating closely with business lines, architects, and external vendors, you'll translate regulatory, process, and customer needs into resilient system solutions, operating across the full project lifecycle from requirements gathering to testing and deployment support. Your main responsibilities: • Gather and analyze business requirements during project initiation and delivery phases. • Develop detailed functional and non-functional requirements specifications and high-level solution designs. • Support analytical work performed by vendors and internal banking units. • Define and analyze banking processes in cooperation with business stakeholders. • Collaborate with system architects, designers, and internal domain experts. • Prepare and review user and automated test scenarios. • Conduct functional testing and support business acceptance testing. • Review technical documentation, architecture, and applied technologies. • Support system parameterization and provide expert guidance post-implementation. You're ideal for this role if you have: • At least four years of experience as a Business Analyst working with business and IT teams. • Experience in banking or financial IT projects. • Strong knowledge of banking processes, regulations, and operations. • Practical experience in business and system requirements analysis and documentation. • Solid understanding of software engineering principles and IT system architecture. • Experience with system and data integration concepts. • Hands-on knowledge of relational databases and data modeling. • Experience in functional and UAT testing activities. • Proficiency with analytical and documentation tools such as Jira or Confluence. • Excellent communication, analytical thinking, and stakeholder management skills. • Proficiency in English (C1) for seamless communication. It is a strong plus if you have: (optional) • Certifications in business analysis or project management. • Experience working in agile environments. Language Required for the role: • Polish (Communicative proficiency).
