Mid-Level Business Data Analyst – Data-Driven Insights

As a Mid-Level Business Data Analyst, you will be working for our client, a leading financial institution committed to innovation and customer excellence. You’ll play a vital role in transforming customer needs into actionable insights and technical requirements, influencing the delivery of value through data-driven strategies. Your main responsibilities: • Collaborate closely with the Product Owner to understand customer requests and define user requirements • Analyze large data sets to support decision-making, assessing project feasibility and impact • Utilize tools like Excel, SQL, and BI platforms to extract meaningful insights from data • Translate customer needs into well-structured technical requirements for engineering teams • Model current and future processes using diagrams and flowcharts • Recommend continuous process improvements and act as a liaison between stakeholders, including customers, users, and development teams • Conduct interviews, workshops, and surveys to gather detailed requirements • Create comprehensive documentation such as Business Requirements Documents (BRD), Functional Requirements Specifications (FRS), and user stories You're ideal for this role if you have: • Proven experience as a Business Analyst, Data Analyst, or similar role (minimum 6 years) • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work with large datasets and extract key insights • Experience in writing user stories and functional requirements • Hands-on skills with Power BI, Tableau, Excel, SQL, Jira, and Confluence • Experience working on complex, large-scale initiatives • Ability to assess priorities, identify risks, and proactively suggest solutions • Excellent communication skills to explain technical topics to non-technical audiences • Experience with Workload Automation tools, especially Control-M, is highly desirable It is a strong plus if you have: • Additional certifications in Business Analysis or Data Analytics • Knowledge of financial services or banking industry Language Required for the role: Fluent English Eligibility to work on this role: Only candidates with an existing legal right to work in the European Union will be considered for this role. #MAKEYourCareerBETTER Interested?
