Mid+/Senior Backend Data Engineer

Details • Start Date: May 1, 2026. • Duration: Initial contract until Dec 31, 2026 • Location: 100% Remote. • Seniority: Mid+/Senior (5+ years of experience). • Rate: 140-145zł/h Responsibilities • Service Design: Designing and operating cloud-native services in a distributed environment (GCP/AWS). • System Scalability: Building and maintaining high-traffic, production-grade systems with a focus on reliability and performance. • API Architecture: Designing and consuming APIs while translating complex business needs into technical solutions. • End-to-End Ownership: Taking full ownership of features from initial concept through to delivery and observability. Requirements • Core: 5+ years of professional Java development and strong CS fundamentals. • Cloud: Hands-on experience with GCP or AWS. • Systems: Deep understanding of distributed systems, data structures, and algorithms. • Nice to Have: Experience with gRPC, BigQuery, Bigtable, and machine learning-driven personalization platforms.
