O projekcie: - Work in a dynamically growing company providing modern technologies for the payment market - Participation in innovative, international projects shaping global payment standards, including in the area of mobile payments - Opportunity for professional development through the implementation of projects based on a variety of technological solutions - Independence in organizing work with an emphasis on high-quality customer service - On-site work in office located in the center of Warsaw Wymagania: - Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field (or equivalent practical experience) - 3+ years of experience as an Oracle DBA in Unix/Linux environments - Hands-on experience with database administration and development projects - Strong knowledge of Oracle database technologies, tools, and architecture - Proven experience in SQL and database performance tuning - Experience with high-volume OLTP systems - Understanding of data modeling (logical and physical design) - Familiarity with backup/recovery strategies and replication solutions (e.g., Data Guard) - Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills - Ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment - Excellent communication skills in English (written and spoken) Nice to have: - Experience working with large-scale (terabyte+) databases - Knowledge of Oracle best practices (indexing, partitioning, hints, schema design) - Experience in international or distributed teams - Scripting/automation skills (e.g., Bash, Python) - Proactive mindset and strong ownership attitude Codzienne zadania: - Administer, maintain, and support Oracle database environments to ensure high availability and performance - Perform database and SQL performance tuning, including query optimization and execution plan analysis - Design, implement, and manage Oracle database instances in distributed environments - Monitor database systems, troubleshoot issues, and provide root cause analysis for production incidents - Support development teams with database-related topics, including performance and data modeling - Review and contribute to logical and physical data model design - Implement and maintain backup, recovery, and replication solutions (e.g., Data Guard) - Ensure database security, integrity, and compliance with internal standards - Automate routine DBA tasks and improve operational efficiency - Collaborate with global engineering and DBA teams to define and enforce best practices
