Position We are currently looking for a candidate for the position of PostgreSQL DBA (he/she) for our client from the banking industry.  Additional information • Remote work (with occasional visits to the office in Warsaw, once a quarter)  Offered salary • Salary: from 900 to 1000 PLN net + VAT / day / B2B contract, depending on experience and competences.  You’re ideal for this role if you: • Have a strong hands-on experience as PostgreSQL DBA / Database Engineer • Have a deep understanding of PostgreSQL internals and performance optimization • Have an experience with PostgreSQL in cloud environments (preferably Google Cloud) • Have a hands-on experience with database migration projects • Have a knowledge of replication, backup/recovery and HA concepts • Have an experience working in enterprise or regulated environments Your day-to-day responsibilities include:​ • Migrate PostgreSQL databases from on-premise environments to Google Cloud • Manage and support PostgreSQL running on VM-based and managed cloud services • Perform database upgrades, patching, tuning, and optimization • Support onboarding of applications onto PostgreSQL platforms • Troubleshoot incidents and support release/change activities • Collaborate with cloud, security, and application teams • Maintain operational documentation and procedures Our recruitment process Call with our Recruiter -> Call with our Business Manager -> Meeting with Client If necessary, after call with the Recruiter, we also invite you to an additional technical verification stage.
