Power BI Developer

Position Summary: We are looking for an experienced Power BI Developer with strong skills in Power BI Report Builder / SSRS and Power BI Desktop. The role involves designing, developing, and optimizing BI reports and dashboards to support data-driven decision-making across the organization. Key Responsibilities: • Develop, enhance, and maintain Power BI reports and dashboards in both Report Builder and Desktop. • Gather business requirements and translate them into technical solutions. • Optimize report performance and ensure data accuracy and consistency. • Build interactive visualizations and write DAX measures, calculations, and KPIs. • Maintain documentation for data sources, logic, and business rules. • Support users with training and report interpretation. Required Qualifications: • 5–10 years of experience with Power BI development (Report Builder, Report Server, and Desktop). • Hands-on experience with SSRS, DAX Studio, Power Query, ALM Toolkit, and Tabular Editor or Visual Studio. • Strong SQL skills for data extraction and transformation. • Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and communication abilities. Preferred Qualifications: • Experience in data modeling and ETL processes. • Familiarity with cloud BI tools (e.g., Power BI Service, Azure). • Understanding of data governance and security. • Exposure to Agile or Scrum environments.
