Principal Data Engineer

O projekcie: We are looking for a Principal Data Engineer to lead the design, development, and optimisation of large-scale data pipelines. You will architect robust and scalable solutions to ingest, transform, and analyse structured and unstructured data, ensuring high performance, reliability, and compliance with organisational standards. Wymagania: - Proven experience leading data engineering projects and teams. - Expertise in building scalable data pipelines for large datasets. - Strong knowledge of data governance, security, and quality practices. - Hands-on experience with monitoring, automation, and disaster recovery workflows. - Excellent stakeholder management and mentoring skills. - Deep understanding of emerging data technologies and industry best practices. Codzienne zadania: - Lead the development of complex, scalable data pipelines across diverse data sources. - Ensure data quality, governance, and security in compliance with organisational and industry standards. - Prioritise stakeholder requirements and identify optimal solutions for timely delivery. - Build automation workflows including monitoring, alerting, and business continuity processes. - Mentor and guide team members, promoting best practices in coding, testing, and engineering. - Evaluate emerging technologies and provide recommendations for upgrades and new releases. - Lead disaster recovery planning and testing.
