Senior Azure Data Engineer (Databricks, Azure)

O projekcie: We are looking for an experienced Senior Data Engineer to join an international project. Wymagania: - 5+ years of experience in Data Engineering or Analytics Engineering roles- Strong hands-on experience with Databricks (Spark, SQL)- Advanced SQL skills, including query optimization and performance tuning- Experience with cloud-based data platforms- Experience migrating data platforms, ideally from Azure Synapse to Databricks- Experience with Power BI, including semantic modeling and datasets- Strong understanding of Kimball methodology, star schemas, and data warehousing best practices- Very good communication skills and ability to work with cross-functional teams- English level: B2 or higher Codzienne zadania: - Design and implement scalable data pipelines and lakehouse architectures using Databricks (Spark, Delta Lake) - Lead and support migration activities from Azure Synapse to Databricks - Develop and optimize Databricks SQL Warehouses for analytics and BI workloads - Build and maintain semantic models supporting enterprise reporting and self-service analytics - Collaborate with analytics and business teams to deliver high-quality Power BI datasets and dashboards - Write, optimize, and tune complex SQL queries for large-scale analytical workloads - Ensure data quality, reliability, and governance across the analytics platform - Contribute to architecture decisions, engineering standards, and best practices
