Senior Cloud Database Engineer (SQL Server)

O projekcie: Offer: - Private medical care- Co-financing for the sports card- Constant support of dedicated consultant- Employee referral program Wymagania: - Strong hands‑on experience as a SQL Server DBA / Database Engineer- Solid experience with SQL Server on Windows in enterprise environments- Experience with cloud‑based SQL Server deployments, preferably on Google Cloud (GCE)- Experience with database migrations from on‑prem to cloud- Knowledge of High Availability / Disaster Recovery (e.g. Always On, clustering)- Experience working in regulated environments (banking, finance, or similar)- SQL Server performance tuning and troubleshooting expertise- Very good command of English, both spoken and written Nice to have: - Experience with hybrid cloud setups- Familiarity with infrastructure as code and automation concepts- Exposure to audit, risk, or compliance requirements Codzienne zadania: - Execute VMware → Google Cloud (GCE / VM‑based) migrations for SQL Server databases - Support migration planning, execution, validation, and post‑migration stabilization - Operate SQL Server databases in hybrid (on‑prem + cloud) environments - Perform performance tuning, capacity planning, and troubleshooting - Support database changes, releases, and incidents in line with ITSM processes - Collaborate with Cloud Engineering, Security, and Application teams - Ensure documentation, runbooks, and operational procedures are updated
