Senior Cloud Engineer

Location: Fully remote with 1-2 visits to Novo Nordisk Copenhagen office each yearDepartment: Server Platform Team in Infrastructure and Information Security Job Overview We are seeking a Senior Cloud Engineer with over 3 years of cloud engineering experience to design, build, and operate two internal automation platforms for multi-cloud VM provisioning (Azure & AWS) and OS golden image pipelines. This role requires adherence to strict compliance and audit requirements within a regulated environment. Main Responsibilities: • Design and maintain fully automated VM provisioning workflows across Azure and AWS. • Own end-to-end CI/CD pipelines from ServiceNow RITM intake to deployment. • Develop and maintain applications for request processing, validation, and CMDB integration. • Author Terraform configurations for VM provisioning and account management. • Operate cross-account OIDC federation across cloud services. • Extend automation processes via Ansible and PowerShell. • Handle platform reliability incidents and maintenance. • Design, build, and maintain OS golden images for multiple OS families and environments. • Maintain Azure Maintenance Configuration workflows for compliance and patching. Key Requirements: • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field. • 3+ years of cloud engineering experience. • Proficient in AWS and Azure platforms. • Skilled in infrastructure as code (IaC) tools like Terraform. • Experience with scripting languages (Python, Bash/Shell, PowerShell). • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. • Strong communication and collaboration abilities. Nice to Have: • Cloud certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Azure Solutions Architect). • Knowledge of DevOps practices and methodologies. Other Details: This position is fully remote, requiring occasional visits to the Copenhagen office. You will work within the Server Platform team, which supports critical applications, ensuring high-quality and reliable services.
