We are looking for a Senior Data Engineer to join the SML Warehouse Management Stable Team in a key replacement assignment. In this role, you will work within a global team of experienced professionals, building and enhancing modern data solutions that support strategic warehouse management and supply chain initiatives.
You will leverage cutting-edge technologies including Databricks, PySpark, SQL, and streaming platforms to design, develop, and optimize scalable data pipelines and analytics solutions in a collaborative international environment.
Key Responsibilities
• Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines using Databricks and PySpark.
• Build and optimize batch and streaming data processing solutions.
• Create and manage workflows to ensure reliable and efficient data operations.
• Work with Unity Catalog to support data governance and data management initiatives.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality data solutions.
• Support warehouse management and supply chain data initiatives across global operations.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of data platforms, performance, and best practices.
Requirements
• Strong commercial experience as a Data Engineer (Min. 5 years of experience).
• Hands-on experience with Databricks.
• Strong knowledge of PySpark and SQL.
• Experience with batch processing and streaming technologies.
• Experience designing and maintaining data workflows.
• Knowledge of Unity Catalog.
• Understanding of DataOps / DevOps practices within data platforms.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
• Fluent English.
Nice to Have
• Experience with SQL Server.
• Experience in warehouse management, logistics, or supply chain domains.
• Experience working in large-scale international environments.
