Senior Data Engineer (Think‑it Phase) Location: Wrocław, Poland (Hybrid – 2 days per week from the office) Contract type: B2B Rate: 160–180 PLN/hour Role Overview We are looking for a Senior Data Engineer with architectural ambition to work in the early “Think‑it” phase of data initiatives. You will collaborate closely with a Business Analyst to translate business hypotheses into target data architecture and implementation‑ready designs. This role offers strong exposure to data and analytics architecture. Responsibilities • Co‑design data solutions with the Business Analyst • Define target cloud‑native data architecture (scalable, secure) • Design logical and physical data models, data flows, and integrations • Assess feasibility, risks, dependencies, and complexity early • Prepare designs ready for transition into the Build‑it phase Requirements • Senior‑level experience in data engineering and analytics platforms • Strong SQL and Databricks skills • Experience with cloud‑native architectures (e.g. Azure) • Understanding of batch, incremental/CDC, and event‑driven patterns • Experience modernizing legacy data solutions (e.g. SSIS to cloud) • Ability to work in ambiguous, early‑stage design phases Benefits • Sports card (multisport / fitness) • Private medical healthcare • Access to an online learning platform • Hybrid work model (2 days per week from the Wrocław office) • Long‑term cooperation on strategic data projects
