Senior Data Engineer (AWS)

O projekcie: We are looking for a Data Engineer to join a project focused on building and scaling modern data platforms in a cloud-based environment. Wymagania: - 4–6 years of professional experience in data engineering - Strong hands-on skills in SQL and Python - Practical experience working with AWS services (e.g. S3, Glue, Lambda, Redshift) - Good understanding of data architecture concepts and best practices - Experience with CI/CD processes and tools (e.g. GitLab) as well as Infrastructure as Code (Terraform) - Ability to troubleshoot and solve complex data-related problems - Experience building and maintaining ETL/ELT workflows - Familiarity with Agile ways of working - English proficiency at C1 level. Nice to have - Experience with BI tools such as Power BI - Strong sense of ownership and accountability - Proactive attitude and willingness to improve existing solutions - Good communication skills and ability to work with stakeholders Codzienne zadania: - Develop and manage batch data processing pipelines using AWS-based solutions - Implement efficient data transformations with Apache Spark and SQL - Design robust data structures to support reporting and analytical use cases - Maintain high standards of data quality, availability, and system performance - Identify and resolve issues within data pipelines, ensuring stability and scalability - Gather and analyze business needs, translating them into effective technical solutions - Work in a self-organized manner while collaborating with cross-functional teams.
