Senior Data Engineer (Azure)

You’ll be part of the Value Optimization Engine Platform, delivering data-driven insights for engineers and financial experts. The team works on ingesting, transforming, and exposing data through modern cloud-based data warehouse solutions and Power BI dashboards. Details • Start: May 2026 (ASAP) • Duration: until May 2027 • Location: Warsaw (hybrid, 2–3 days onsite) • Rate: up to 190 PLN/h (B2B) • Client: energy sector, international environment Your responsibilities • Build and develop cloud Data Warehouse solutions (Azure) • Design and maintain data ingestion pipelines • Develop T-SQL transformations (Azure Synapse preferred) • Ensure data quality, security, and performance • Collaborate with business stakeholders and Product Owner • Work closely with Power BI developers • Set up monitoring and orchestration of pipelines • Define and maintain data contracts • Support future migration from Azure to AWS Must have • Strong experience as a Data Engineer • Hands-on experience with Azure Data Factory • Very good knowledge of T-SQL / SQL transformations • Experience with cloud data warehousing (Azure) • Understanding of dimensional modelling & medallion architecture • Experience building and maintaining ETL pipelines • Familiarity with Git and version control • Good communication skills & fluent English • Experience working in Agile environments Nice to have • Experience with Azure Synapse • Knowledge of Dataiku • Experience with GitHub Actions / DevOps practices • Experience with AWS or cloud migration projects • Background in working with financial or engineering data What we’re looking for • Proactive and curious mindset • Strong analytical thinking • Passion for working with data • Team player with good communication skills
