Senior Data Engineer (Databricks) B2B via Experis Location: 100% remote from Poland Travel: Occasional business trips to GermanyB2B rate: 140-170 PLN netto+VAT/h Responsibilities • Design, develop, and maintain scalable data engineering solutions based on Databricks and cloud data platforms • Implement and optimize data pipelines using PySpark, Python, and Spark SQL • Work closely with business stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into technical solutions • Actively participate in consulting activities, advising clients on best practices in data engineering and analytics platforms • Develop and maintain solutions using key Databricks features, including notebooks, jobs, and structured streaming • Ensure high data quality through testing, monitoring, and validation of data pipelines • Collaborate with distributed teams, contributing to code reviews, documentation, and knowledge sharing • Lead and guide other developers, supporting technical decision‑making and delivery standards • Communicate technical concepts clearly to client stakeholders and non‑technical audiences Requirements • Proven Data Engineering experience, including participation in at least two Databricks projects as a Data Engineer • Strong, hands‑on knowledge of: PySpark • Python • Spark SQL • Practical experience or strong knowledge of the following Databricks components and features:• Databricks Asset Bundles • Structured Streaming • Auto Loader • Databricks Jobs with tasks • Notebooks • REST APIs • Delta Tables • Experience working with Azure Data Lake / Blob Storage (Azure) • Strong understanding of distributed data processing and performance optimization • Ability to work independently in a remote setup and take ownership of delivered solutions • Excellent communication skills and experience working directly with client and business stakeholders • Fluency in English (spoken and written) Nice to Have: • Previous experience in consulting or client‑facing roles • Exposure to enterprise‑scale or regulated environments • Experience designing data platforms end‑to‑end We Offer • 100% remote work from Poland • Long‑term cooperation on international projects • Occasional travel to Germany for workshops or client meetings • Opportunity to work with modern cloud and Databricks technologies • Real influence on architecture, standards, and engineering practices • Collaborative, knowledge‑sharing team culture • Competitive compensation aligned with experience and responsibilities
