Senior Data Operations Administrator
Job Summary:
The Senior Data Operations Administrator is fundamentally responsible for managing the technical BI operations processes. This position demands accountability for technical decisions within the operations team, working alongside leadership to guarantee operational efficiency in the delivery of data for reporting purposes. The administrator will oversee system monitoring, configuration, and ensure adherence to SLA commitments.
Main Responsibilities:
As a Senior Data Operations Administrator, your role will involve:
• System monitoring to ensure optimal performance.
• Maintenance and configuration of operational systems.
• Managing request handling processes efficiently.
• Job scheduling and reporting monitoring.
• Overseeing the deployment processes for BI solutions.
• Conducting audits for BI IT processes to maintain standards.
Key Requirements:
• 5-10 years of experience within a large enterprise BI setup.
• Minimum of 5 years in BI operations.
• Extensive familiarity with Data Warehousing technologies and concepts.
• Proficient knowledge of database technologies.
• MUST HAVE: Extensive experience with Data Lakehouse, Databricks, and Power BI.
Nice to Have:
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent communication skills for both technical and non-technical audiences.
Other Details:
This role requires availability during unconventional hours to address operational needs, with some weekend work anticipated due to service windows and month-end processes. The engagement starts on 01.11.26, with a duration of 2 years, during which there is potential for a transition to a full-time role.
