Senior Data Operations Administrators

The Senior Operations Administrator is primarily responsible for overseeing the technical operational BI processes. This role carries professional responsibility for the technical work and decisions made within the operations team alongside the Head of Data Operations and the Senior Operations Manager. The administrator sets standards for system monitoring and configuration, ensuring timely data loading and delivery based on SLAs and agreements with business stakeholders. Collaboration with the development team is crucial to prevent operational issues.   The Senior BI Operations Administrator also engages in proof of concepts for new solutions or technologies, whilst ensuring progress on operational projects and areas of expertise.   Main Responsibilities The Senior Data Operations Administrator will carry out the following core duties: • System monitoring • System maintenance & configuration • Request handling process • Job scheduling & monitoring • Deployment process • BI IT Audit Key Requirements • 5-10 years of experience in a large enterprise BI setup • 5 years of working within BI operations • Extensive knowledge of Data Warehousing and related technologies • Extensive knowledge of database technologies • MUST HAVE: Extensive experience with Data Lakehouse, Databricks and Power BI Nice to Have • Strong analytic and problem-solving skills • Strong communication skills towards both technical and non-technical colleagues
