Senior Data Platform Engineer (AWS, Databricks, Python)

You’ll be part of the engineering organization with a strong focus on using industry standards and cutting-edge technology.🔥 We are currently looking for a Data Platform Engineer, willing to join a project for our strategic client – one of the largest manufacturing companies from Sweden, to join our Data Platform Team, where you will play a key role in building and evolving our cloud-native data platform. As a Data Platform Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining a scalable, secure, and cost-efficient data platform on AWS. You will work closely with data engineers, data scientists, and product teams to enable the development of Data and AI products. Your focus will be on infrastructure, automation, and platform capabilities that support both technical and non-technical users. 🔷Responsibilities: • Build and maintain a self-serve data platform using AWS services, Terraform, and Kubernetes  • Contribute to CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure automation  • Implement and manage data mesh principles to support domain-oriented data ownership • Design and support medallion architecture (bronze, silver, gold layers) using Databricks • Develop and orchestrate data pipelines using Apache Airflow  • Ensure platform scalability, observability, and cost optimization  • Implement data governance practices including cataloging, lineage, and access control  • Collaborate in a Scrum team to deliver platform features in an agile, iterative manner  • Support platform users and promote best practices across teams 🎯Requirements: • Strong hands-on experience with AWS services (e.g., S3, Glue, Lambda, IAM, EKS, Redshift), with the last 5 years as AWS Cloud Infrastructure •  Experience of working with multi account cloud infrastructure • Proficiency in Terraform , Infrastructure as Code (IaC), CICD • Experience with deploying Databricks in AWS • Understanding of data lakehouse and medallion architecture • Experience with Airflow deployment on AKS • Familiarity with Kubernetes setup and operations • Knowledge of data mesh concepts and implementation • Programming skills in Python • Experience working in agile/Scrum delivery teams • Strong communication and collaboration skills ⭐What we offer: • Flexible contract currency of your choice (PLN/EUR/SEK) • Flexible work arrangements and remote work options • Professional development and training opportunities • Collaborative and inclusive work environment • Opportunity to work on cutting-edge technologies and make a meaningful impact in the dairy industry • Regular company events and integrations (meetups) Missing anything you like?
