Senior Data Product Engineer

For one of our international clients, we are currently looking for an experienced Senior Data Product Engineer who will join a team responsible for building and maintaining advanced analytical data platforms. This role focuses on designing and developing modern data products and analytical layers based on the Data Mesh methodology, supporting business decision-making and enabling scalable data processing across the organization. 📍 Poland / Warsaw - occasional visits in Warsaw office 🚀 Your responsibilities • Designing and building analytical data layers, including data warehouses, analytical tables, and dashboards visualizing key business processes • Implementing and orchestrating complex ETL pipelines (scheduled and dependency-driven) • Designing analytical data models optimized for common business use cases and cost-efficient data processing • Implementing Data Quality frameworks, including anomaly detection mechanisms and automated data profiling • Developing and improving data infrastructure and tooling supporting efficient data ingestion and processing • Collaborating with business and analytics teams to translate customer processes into scalable data models and insights 🎯 Requirements • Minimum 6 years of professional experience as a Data Analyst or Data Engineer • Strong experience with ETL development and orchestration • Advanced knowledge of SQL, including query optimization • Solid understanding of data modeling, processing, storage, and aggregation techniques • Experience using statistical methods (e.g., distributions, percentiles) for data validation and Root Cause Analysis • Experience analyzing complex customer or business processes and visualizing results using BI tools • Strong knowledge of data architecture, including relational and analytical modeling ⭐ Nice to have • Experience using Python for data processing and analysis • Ability to design scalable dbt model architectures • Experience optimizing Snowflake platform costs • Implementation of advanced dbt testing, including unit tests and custom macros 🤝 What we offer • Long-term cooperation within an international environment • Opportunity to work on modern data platforms and large-scale analytical environments • Collaboration with experienced data engineering and analytics teams • Flexible and remote-friendly working model 📍 Please note that we will contact selected candidates only.
