Senior Data Scientist (Databricks, Python, SQL)

O projekcie: For our client, we are looking for a Data Scientist to support the review and transformation of the current BI landscape and lead the migration from Power BI to Databricks. The role involves designing and developing dashboards and reports in Databricks, with a strong focus on finance and operational reporting. The project is based in Arnhem, Netherlands, and requires availability for on-site visits. The client is primarily interested in candidates currently based in the Netherlands, although remote work may be considered depending on the candidate’s experience and skills. Wymagania: - 5+ years of professional development experience using SQL and Python in Databricks- Strong hands-on experience with Power BI- In-depth knowledge of the Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations data model- Experience working in an Agile environment and collaborating with hybrid teams- Strong communication skills and ability to work closely with internal stakeholders- Fluency in English- Availability to visit the office in Arnhem- Availability to work part-time (up to 16 hours per week) Codzienne zadania: - Review the current BI landscape and make it future-proof - Lead the migration from Power BI to Databricks - Design and develop new dashboards in Databricks - Develop and maintain reports such as: - Gross Margin Model - AR Aging Report - Revenue reconciliation per payment / NFC provider - Project dashboard: CapEx budget vs. actuals - P&L actuals versus budget - Energy consumption dashboard (KPI / Flash reporting for management operational slides) - Cashflow forecasting model - Work in an Agile environment
