Location: Warsaw (hybrid work model)
Responisiblities:
Intelligent automation and AI solution development - approximately 60%
• Design, build and maintain intelligent automation solutions using Power Automate, Copilot Studio, Power Apps and related Microsoft technologies.
• Develop AI-enabled workflows, agents, prompts and solution patterns that support Finance operations and transformation use cases.
• Build and integrate automations with Microsoft 365, SharePoint, Teams, Outlook, Power BI, Dataverse and relevant enterprise applications.
• Use custom code where required to extend low-code capabilities, support complex logic, call APIs, manipulate data or build reusable components.
• Prototype solutions quickly, demonstrate working functionality to stakeholders, and iterate based on feedback while maintaining scope discipline.
Business analysis and solution design — approximately 15%
• Lead discovery workshops, process walkthroughs and stakeholder interviews across Finance functions.
• Translate business problems into structured requirements, solution options, functional specifications and implementation plans.
• Produce high-quality documentation including BRDs, process maps, solution design documents, user stories, UAT scripts, operating procedures and knowledge-transfer materials.
• Challenge process assumptions and identify opportunities to simplify, standardise, automate or redesign current ways of working.
• Define clear ownership, controls, support models and handover requirements for delivered solutions.
Analytics, reporting and data integration — approximately 15%
• Develop Power BI dashboards, reporting views and analytics that support automation use cases and benefits tracking.
• Use Excel, Power Query and Power Pivot for process analysis, prototyping, data transformation and stakeholder-facing outputs.
• Write SQL queries to extract, join, transform and analyse data from structured sources.
• Support integration between automation flows, analytics models and source systems.
• Define and track success metrics such as hours saved, error reduction, cycle-time improvement, adoption and control improvements.
Governance, standards and adoption — approximately 10%
• Contribute to automation, AI and analytics standards, ensuring solutions are secure, supportable, documented and aligned to enterprise governance.
• Maintain reusable templates, design patterns, documentation examples and best-practice guidance for the FTSE team.
• Support UAT, training, adoption communications and post-go-live transition to business-as-usual ownership.
• Promote responsible use of AI and automation, including appropriate human review, testing, access control and change control.
Requirements:
• 5+ years of experience delivering automation, analytics, digital transformation, AI-enabled solutions or business process improvement initiatives.
• Hands-on experience with Microsoft Power Platform, particularly Power Automate and Copilot Studio; Power Apps experience.
• Proficiency in at least one modern programming language such as Python, C#, Java, JavaScript, TypeScript, C++ or equivalent.
• Strong SQL capability, including the ability to independently write, optimize and troubleshoot queries using joins, CTEs, aggregations, subqueries, window functions and data transformations.
• Experience developing or integrating solutions using APIs, databases, files and enterprise applications.
• Strong Power BI, Excel and Power Query skills, including the ability to prepare analysis, transform data and present insights clearly.
• Strong business analysis capability, including requirements gathering, workshop facilitation, process mapping, solution structuring and documentation.
• Ability to communicate effectively with both business and technical stakeholders, including demonstrations and senior stakeholder updates.
• Evidence of taking solutions from concept through design, build, testing, deployment and handover.
• Experience within Finance Transformation, Shared Services, Operational Finance, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, General Ledger, Intercompany, Treasury or Master Data.
