Hybrid way of work from Gdansk ( 2-3 days per week) Bugdet: 150PLN/h on B2B contract Industry: Banking Introduction & Summary The role of Senior IT Analyst involves acting as a crucial link between business needs and developers, ensuring the delivery of high-quality IT solutions. Key skills include strong analytical thinking, a proven ability to manage complex data solutions, and exceptional communication abilities. Experience within the banking sector and familiarity with various data tools is advantageous. Main Responsibilities As a Senior IT Analyst, you will play a pivotal role in the development and enhancement of the DATA Platform. Engaging with various stakeholders and enhancing data-driven solutions. Key responsibilities include: • Bridging business needs and technical teams to facilitate high-quality IT solutions. • Assisting in the construction and refinement of the DATA Platform. • Collaborating on data product development. • Designing advanced data and analytics solutions. • Eliciting business features through stakeholder collaboration. • Managing delivery dependencies among teams and organizational units. • Participating in an Agile environment as part of a cross-functional delivery team. • Quickly understanding new technologies and asking the right questions. • Communicating effectively with business users. • Leveraging banking knowledge where applicable. Key Requirements • Proficient knowledge of SQL (mandatory). • Experience handling complex requirements. • Expertise in data analysis, data hygiene, and data quality. • Familiarity with Hive. • Strong communication skills. • Ability to take ownership of tasks and features. • Analytical thinking and problem-solving capabilities. • Basic understanding of machine learning concepts, CI/CD pipeline, and big data. • (Optional) Python programming skills. • (Optional) Familiarity with Spark. Nice to Have • SQL coding proficiency with significant experience in Data Analysis. • Strong background in solution design (minimum 10+ years experience). Other Details This position is based in Gdańsk, Poland, with a strong emphasis on Agile methodologies and remote collaboration. Proficiency in English is required for effective communication.
