Senior IT Analyst (Banking / Core Systems)

Warsaw / Gdańsk / Gdynia (hybrid – 2 days in the office) International project | banking sector About the project You will join a large, stable banking project within the deposits domain (accounts & deposits), covering a system handling approximately 6.5 million accounts. You will work in an international environment, in a SAFe Agile model, collaborating closely with both business and IT teams. This role is ideal for professionals who enjoy working with complex systems, having real impact, and operating at scale. Your responsibilities • Gathering, analyzing, and documenting requirements (functional & non-functional) • Collaborating with multiple stakeholders (business & IT) • Business process and data modeling • Supporting solution design (scalability, robustness) • Working closely with development teams • Participating in technical analysis and design decisions • Ensuring quality and stability of production systems • Contributing to system modernization initiatives Requirements (must-have) • Experience as an IT Analyst / System Analyst • Strong skills in requirements analysis (functional & non-functional) • Experience in business and data modeling (UML, BPMN, data modelling) • Understanding of enterprise architecture and distributed systems • SQL – experience working with large, complex datasets • Experience with Jira and Confluence • Understanding of system integrations (APIs, messaging, etc.) • Ability to work effectively with stakeholders (business & IT) • English – minimum B2 level Nice to have • Experience in banking, especially large core systems • Knowledge of core banking systems (e.g., Temenos) • Experience with Hadoop / Snowflake • Experience working in SAFe / Agile environments What we offer • Long-term project in a stable banking environment • Work in international teams • Real impact on large-scale systems • Opportunity to work on modern solutions and system transformation
