Senior IT Analyst (Data / Business Analysis)

Responsibilities: • Perform IT analysis, investigative data analysis, system design, and data modelling to support development teams • Drive and facilitate functional and non-functional requirements across multiple stakeholders • Translate business needs into clear, structured technical and functional requirements • Act as a bridge between business and IT teams to ensure alignment and transparency • Build strong understanding of business processes and corresponding system solutions • Analyse and validate data models, ensuring they meet business requirements and are effectively utilized by development teams • Collaborate closely with developers, architects, and other IT analysts in a cross-functional environment   Requirements: • Minimum 5+ years of experience in IT analysis, data analysis, or a similar role • Strong experience in relational databases design, querying, and optimization • Hands-on experience with Big Data platforms (e.g. Hadoop, Hive, Impala, PySpark, HQL), including data querying and processing • Experience working with JSON data formats • Experience with standardized data models (e.g. Canonical Data Model) • Strong experience in requirements elicitation, analysis, and refinement in data-related projects • Ability to translate business and technical requirements into clear, structured documentation • Practical experience using JIRA and Bitbucket • Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills • Excellent communication skills and ability to work with both business and technical stakeholders • Experience working in Agile environments and distributed, cross-cultural teams • Fluency in English (both written and spoken) • Experience with Python or Java Nice to have: • Experience working with AVRO data formats • Experience with DBA activities, particularly DB2 and Oracle • Experience in banking or financial services Offer: • Private medical care • Co-financing for the sports card • Training & learning opportunities • Constant support of dedicated consultant • Employee referral program
