Krakow-based opportunity with hybrid work model As a Senior IT Business Analyst – Payments & Wholesale Banking, you will be working for our client, a leader in global trade, receivables financing, and corporate banking solutions. You will play a pivotal role in delivering high-impact projects that enhance HSBC’s international banking capabilities. Your main responsibilities: • Define the most suitable analysis approach to identify opportunities and solve complex problems in the payments and banking domain • Produce detailed Component level flows and Swimlane diagrams to outline payment processing sequences • Convert business requirements into functional user stories with clear acceptance criteria • Conduct root cause analyses for failure points and recommend effective improvements • Collaborate with cross-functional, multi-regional teams to ensure seamless understanding and implementation of solutions • Review test cases and results, verifying that all business and technical requirements are satisfied • Work closely with solution delivery and production support teams to ensure comprehensive understanding and support for deployed software • Maintain end-to-end perspective, balancing delivery speed with quality You're ideal for this role if you have: • Minimum 5 years of experience as an IT Business Analyst or Business Consultant in the financial or payments domain • Proven expertise in payments, especially within UK or SEPA areas • Excellent written and spoken English communication skills, capable of engaging diverse audiences • Strong analytical skills with meticulous attention to detail • Experience working with Agile methodologies, tools like Confluence and Jira • Ability to produce BPMN and end-to-end process flows • Practical knowledge of SQL for data querying It is a strong plus if you have: (optional) • Experience in UK payments • Relevant certifications such as CBAP, IQBBA, or similar Language Required for the role: • Fluent English, with excellent communication impact Eligibility for the role: • Only candidates with an existing legal right to work in the European Union will be considered for this role. #MAKEYourCareerBETTER Interested?
