Senior IT Operations Specialist – Database Management Solutions

Due to our ongoing growth and the large number of recruitment projects we undertake for our partners, we are currently looking for: Senior IT Operations Specialist – Database Management Solutions Praca 3 dni z biura w tygodniu + 2 dni zdalnie (Warszawa, Gdańsk, Gdynia) Wymagania: - ITIL Foundation certification - 5+ years of hands-on experience in Oracle database and ETL operations and support - Strong expertise in Oracle architecture, database administration and performance optimization - Experience writing and optimizing SQL queries - Experience working with Linux environments and infrastructure management - Familiarity with DevOps tooling, such as Jenkins, Git and database change management tools (e.g. Liquibase, Flyway) - Solid programming skills in Python, Java or C# - Experience with monitoring and alerting tools (e.g. Splunk) - Strong troubleshooting, analytical and communication skills Nice to have: - Experience working with financial services or banking systems - Experience leveraging AI-powered development tools, such as GitHub Copilot, to improve operational workflows Codzienne zadania: - Provide daily operational support for Oracle databases and ETL solutions, including monitoring and troubleshooting - Accept, analyze and resolve support tickets related to database and ETL operations - Monitor system performance, database health and ETL job execution to ensure stable business process flows - Perform proactive system health checks and preventive maintenance activities - Manage incident response and coordinate with relevant teams during critical production issues - Investigate and troubleshoot complex issues in pre-production and production environments, including parallel production setups - Perform root cause analysis and contribute to structured problem management processes - Analyze Oracle logs, ETL job logs and system alerts using monitoring tools - Document solutions and maintain knowledge base articles for recurring operational issues - Execute database and ETL deployments in accordance with ITIL-based processes - Coordinate release activities across multiple environments, including Pre-Production and Production - Manage deployment schedules and communicate release activities with business stakeholders - Perform post-deployment verification and execute rollback procedures when necessary - Work closely with developers, analysts and business stakeholders to ensure smooth operational delivery - Maintain clear and timely communication regarding incidents, resolutions and operational improvements
