Krakow-based opportunity with hybrid work model (up to 3 remote days per week).
As a Senior Quantum Technologies Business Analyst, you will be working for our client, a leading player in the cybersecurity and technology risk industry. You will support the Quantum Safe Programme by translating complex priorities into actionable requirements, process designs, and insights that accelerate delivery across multiple execution tracks. Your expertise will enable strategic decision-making and help build resilient, future-proof security capabilities. Your main responsibilities:
• Elicit, analyse and document business and functional requirements for quantum-safe capabilities across diverse teams and workstreams.
• Translate ambiguous issues into clear user stories, acceptance criteria, and comprehensive 'definition of done' documentation aligned with programme governance.
• Support prioritisation discussions by presenting structured options, assessing trade-offs related to risk, cost, dependencies, and feasibility.
• Design and analyse cross-team processes to embed quantum-safe protocols, identify gaps, reduce friction, and enhance operational efficiency.
• Map current vs. target-state processes, highlight pain points, and recommend improvements to streamline workflows.
• Ensure requirements and process designs are aligned with HSBC governance and control standards.
• Define data, metrics, and MI requirements to measure progress and support credible reporting.
• Contribute to dashboard and reporting design by establishing metrics and narrative frameworks ready for senior leadership review.
• Improve data quality, establish standards, facilitate workshops, and maintain clear traceability from requirements to delivery outcomes.
• Collaborate with third-party vendors and internal stakeholders to support analysis and integration efforts.
• Maintain and refine backlogs, support sprint planning, and ensure clear dependencies and acceptance criteria.
• Validate outputs to meet the requirements and manage change through structured controls to support delivery assurance.

You're ideal for this role if you have:
• At least 5 years of proven experience as a Business Analyst within complex, multi-stakeholder technology programmes, especially in cybersecurity or technology risk.
• Strong facilitation skills, including workshop management, user story creation, acceptance criteria development, and process mapping.
• Excellent stakeholder management skills with the ability to communicate complex insights clearly.
• Proficiency in JIRA, Confluence, and producing high-quality artefacts and presentations.
• Analytical strength to structure complex problems, define metrics, and articulate insights effectively.

It is a strong plus if you have:
• Knowledge of quantum-safe / PQC concepts and their integration implications (inventory, migration planning, vendor readiness, training).
• Experience within regulated environments, contributing to audit readiness and evidence standards.
• Background working with data/MI teams on metric definitions, dashboards, and reporting design.
• Previous experience within HSBC or similarly large, federated organizations.

Language Required for the role:
• Fluent English (both written and spoken).
