About the project
We are looking for a Signal Processing & Data Analysis Expert to support a pharmaceutical project focused on algorithm validation and platform migration. You will help ensure consistency, reliability, and equivalence of signal processing outputs across different environments and data pipelines.
Work mode: 100% remote
Tasks
• Provide signal processing expertise to engineering, migration, and clinical teams.
• Investigate data discrepancies, anomalies, and edge cases using statistical methods.
• Analyze and document existing signal processing algorithms to support validation and knowledge transfer.
• Design validation frameworks, test cases, and acceptance criteria for algorithm comparison.
• Develop CSV-based comparison workflows to identify, classify, and quantify output differences.
• Collaborate with engineers and data migration specialists to resolve data integrity issues and ensure full traceability of findings.
Requirements
• PhD in Electrical Engineering, Applied Mathematics, Physics, Data Science, or a related quantitative field.
• Strong background in Digital Signal Processing and time-series analysis.
• Hands-on experience with Python, including NumPy, SciPy, and pandas.
• Experience in algorithm/software validation, testing, and defining acceptance criteria.
• Experience working with large datasets and data reconciliation workflows.
• Excellent documentation and communication skills.
• Fluent English (B2/C1)
Nice to Have
• Experience with platform migrations or equivalency testing.
• Knowledge of reproducible research and version-controlled analysis workflows.
• Experience working with high-frequency sensor data.
