Snowflake Developer with SSIS – Remote (Poland)

We are hiring a Snowflake Developer with SSIS expertise to support a large-scale data transformation programme for a global investment firm. This role focuses on building scalable data pipelines, optimising Snowflake performance, and managing ETL processes across enterprise data platforms. Send CV to (marcillina,tietjen@dcvtechnologies.co.uk) 📍 Location: Poland (Remote) 💼 Contract: 6–12 months DCV-TSK-HX-23-04-26 Key Responsibilities • Design, develop, and optimise data models and ETL pipelines in Snowflake • Build and maintain end-to-end data ingestion and transformation workflows • Develop and enhance SSIS packages for data integration • Automate data processes using Snowflake tasks, streams, and Snowpipe • Implement data transformation logic using SQL and stored procedures • Optimise query performance, storage, and compute usage in Snowflake • Support data migration from SQL Server to Snowflake • Collaborate with stakeholders to define and deliver data solutions • Ensure data quality, governance, and security standards • Troubleshoot and resolve data warehouse and pipeline issues Key Skills • Strong experience with Snowflake data warehousing • Hands-on experience with SSIS (ETL development and support) • Advanced SQL (complex queries, CTEs, stored procedures) • Experience with data modelling and ETL pipeline design • Knowledge of data migration (SQL Server → Snowflake) • Experience with Python for data engineering / automation • Familiarity with AWS S3 and cloud-based data environments Nice to Have • Experience with ETL tools (DBT, SnapLogic, Talend, Informatica, Fivetran) • Azure DevOps (CI/CD, deployments) • Snowpark (Python/Scala) • Infrastructure tools (Terraform, CloudFormation) About the Company Our client is a global technology-driven organisation delivering large-scale digital transformation programmes across enterprise environments.
