Software Engineer (Data Science)

Nasze wymagania: 3+ years of experience in Software Engineering, preferably in backend or data-focused systems, strong knowledge of Kotlin or Java for backend development, good knowledge of SQL and experience working with large datasets, experience building data pipelines or data processing workflows, experience working with cloud platforms (preferably GCP), basic experience working with data analysis or machine learning workflows, strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in cross-functional teams, very good command of English (spoken and written), openness to occasional on-site team meetings (up to once per quarter) in our Poznań or Warsaw office, work from the European Union region and a work permit are required. Mile widziane: experience with Scala, Spark, or other big data processing tools, experience with Apache Airflow or similar orchestration tools, familiarity with ML platforms such as Vertex AI, experience with React or data visualization tools. Zakres obowiązków: developing backend services and applications using Kotlin or Java, processing large data volumes using Scala and BigQuery, designing and maintaining data pipelines using Apache Airflow in the Cloud Composer (GCP) environment, working with Google Cloud Platform services to build scalable and reliable data infrastructure, preparing and transforming datasets for machine learning processes, supporting the development and training of AI/ML models, including experimentation and A/B testing, performing exploratory data analysis and creating visualizations to support business insights and decision-making, collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver data-driven applications and AI-enabled solutions.
