Opis stanowiska
Andersen is seeking a System Analyst for a project enhancing card payment capabilities, including POS integrations and backend services to ensure secure and reliable transactions. The customer is a global organization operating in the services sector, offering a range of solutions that support operational and logistical needs of end users. The company focuses on providing flexible, scalable, and accessible services through a distributed model, enabling efficient coordination of processes across different touchpoints. Its offerings are designed to address a variety of customer scenarios, with an emphasis on convenience and adaptability. The project is focused on implementing and enhancing card payment capabilities within a retail environment. It includes developing POS integrations, backend payment services, and external processor connectivity to support secure, reliable in-person transactions. Responsibilities: • Supporting the design of ISO 8583 message structures for different transaction types, including authorization, completion, reversal, refund, and increment flows. • Defining ISO behavior for specific business and industry scenarios such as rental, storage, and other specialized payment use cases. • Clarifying required vs optional fields, field and subfield mappings, and expected handling of edge cases. • Translating standard ISO 8583 logic into Worldpay-specific implementation requirements. • Identify processor-specific deviations from the ISO standard and recommend the correct implementation approach upfront. • Working proactively ahead of the development team to support user story preparation. • Removing ambiguity before development starts and ensure engineering teams have clear functional guidance. • Supporting the team in preparing for EMV contactless certification, including certification requirements, test case expectations, and common failure points. • Acting as a subject matter expert for payment-related questions and edge cases, reducing reliance on Worldpay support and speeding up decision-making. Must-haves: • Experience in System Analysis for 4+ years. • Strong hands-on experience with ISO 8583 in real implementation scenarios. • Deep understanding of EMV, including both contact and contactless flows. • Practical experience with authorization and clearing/settlement flows. • Experience working with Worldpay or similar payment processors such as FIS, Fiserv, or comparable providers. • Good understanding of POS and terminal ecosystems. • Strong knowledge of the payment lifecycle, from authorization through settlement. • Level of English: from Upper-Intermediate and above. Nice to haves: • Experience with Ingenico terminals. • Previous involvement in EMV certification activities. • Domain experience in rental, hospitality, or mobility payments.
