Tableau Cloud Developer

We are looking for a Tableau Cloud Developer who will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining dashboards and data visualisations in Tableau Cloud. This role combines dashboard development, data integration, and close collaboration with business stakeholders to deliver scalable and user-friendly reporting solutions. You will work with cloud data sources, support the migration of existing Tableau environments to Tableau Cloud, and help establish best practices for dashboard development, performance, and governance. Key Responsibilities • Design and develop dashboards and reports using Tableau (Tableau Cloud / Tableau Online) • Build and maintain data sources, data models, and Tableau datasets • Connect Tableau to cloud and on-prem data sources (e.g. SQL databases, data warehouses, APIs) • Support migration from Tableau Server to Tableau Cloud • Optimise dashboard performance and ensure best practices in data visualisation • Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into dashboards and reports • Manage publishing, access, and governance in Tableau Cloud • Troubleshoot data and performance issues • Document dashboards, data sources, and development standards • Support the development of reporting standards and best practices Required Experience • Experience as a Tableau Developer / BI Developer / Data Visualization Developer • Strong experience with Tableau (Tableau Cloud / Tableau Online / Tableau Server) • Experience with SQL and data analysis • Experience working with cloud data sources or cloud data platforms • Experience building dashboards for business users • Understanding of data modelling and data visualisation best practices • Experience with Tableau Cloud administration (publishing, permissions, data sources) is a strong plus Nice to have • Experience with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP) • Experience with data warehouses (Snowflake, BigQuery, Redshift, Synapse) • Experience with ETL / ELT tools • Experience migrating Tableau Server to Tableau Cloud • Knowledge of Python or R for data analysis • Experience working in Agile environment
