Tableau Next / Slack Enterprise+ Engineer (h/f)

Summary The role of a Tableau Next / Slack Enterprise+ Engineer focuses on designing and managing effective dashboards and workflows to optimize agent performance through data integration and visualization. The primary objective of the role is to enhance decision-making processes within the organization by leveraging real-time data insights and enabling self-service capabilities for business users. Main Responsibilities: • Design KPI cockpit in Tableau Next, including calculated fields and live data cloud connections. • Configure Slack Enterprise+ workflows and bot setups, ensuring proper channel governance and alert routing. • Develop agent performance metric dashboards that highlight CSAT, resolution rate, escalation rate, SLA compliance, and revenue influence. • Establish data source connectivity between Tableau and various platforms such as Salesforce and external APIs. • Create operations notifications to build real-time Slack alerts for various business metrics. • Manage dashboard governance, including version control and permission settings for published data sources. • Facilitate self-service options by designing Tableau views for business users, training them for independent exploration. Key Requirements: • 3–5 years of experience in Tableau or BI delivery. • Proficiency in Tableau Next, covering KPI cockpit design and live data connections. • Experience with Slack Enterprise+ administration, including workflow builders and bot configuration. • Strong understanding of data connectivity, especially with Salesforce and via APIs. Nice to Have: • Prior experience in designing dashboards with strong design sensibility. • Experience in iterative delivery of BI projects, gathering feedback for continuous improvement. • Familiarity with operational performance metrics and their implementations in dashboards.
