AWS Systems Engineer

About the Role We’re looking for an experienced AWS Systems Engineer to design, build, and maintain our cloud infrastructure. You’ll work closely with development and security teams to ensure our AWS environment is scalable, reliable, and cost-efficient. Key Responsibilities • Architect, deploy, and manage AWS infrastructure (EC2, RDS, S3, Lambda, ECS/EKS, VPC, CloudFront, etc.) • Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using tools like CodePipeline, Jenkins, or GitHub Actions • Implement infrastructure as code using Terraform, CloudFormation, or CDK • Monitor system health, performance, and cost using CloudWatch, Datadog, or similar tools • Enforce security best practices — IAM policies, KMS, GuardDuty, security groups, and compliance frameworks • Support disaster recovery planning, backup strategies, and incident response • Collaborate with developers to optimize application deployments and container orchestration • Evaluate and recommend new AWS services and architectural improvements Required Qualifications • 3–5+ years of hands-on AWS experience • AWS certification (Solutions Architect, SysOps, or DevOps Engineer — Associate or Professional) • Proficiency in at least one scripting language (Python, Bash, or PowerShell) • Strong experience with IaC tools (Terraform preferred) • Solid understanding of networking fundamentals (DNS, load balancing, VPN, routing) • Experience with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes / EKS) Nice to Have • Experience with multi-account AWS Organizations and landing zones • Familiarity with FinOps / cloud cost optimization practices • Experience with observability stacks (Grafana, Prometheus, OpenTelemetry)  All our positions are Remote and are available as Full Time Employment or B2B Contracts
