Cloud & DevSecOps Engineer

We are currently looking for a Cloud & DevSecOps Engineer to join an exciting long‑term project delivered for a European Union organization. This is a unique opportunity to work in an international, highly secure and innovative environment. IMPORTANT: Working on this project requires a security clearance classified as EU Secret or the initiation of the security clearance process after starting work. We'll be happy to provide you with more information during your interview. Tasks: • Develop efficient, reusable and maintainable code. • Ensure high code quality through code reviews and SonarQube checks. • Continuously improve existing services and propose optimizations. • Create unit and integration tests to ensure stable development and deployment processes. • Use GitLab, CI/CD pipelines and scripting to automate deployment and analysis tasks. • Implement automation for configuration, monitoring and orchestration processes. • Collaborate closely with architects, system administrators and development teams. • Participate in agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, daily stand‑ups and sprint reviews. • Contribute to knowledge sharing and maintain proper technical documentation. Technical skills: • Strong, hands‑on AWS experience (AWS certifications required). • Service management experience (ITIL or similar). • Windows & Linux system administration. • DevSecOps expertise. • Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CDK). • Configuration management (Ansible). • Strong understanding of Internet protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, SMTP, HTTPS). • Knowledge of Active Directory and LDAP. • Hands‑on experience with containers (Docker, Podman) and Kubernetes clusters. • Experience with GitLab pipelines. • Solid understanding of IT security principles. • Practical software development experience (Git, Python, TypeScript). • Experience with AI development, agentic solutions and delivery of AI at scale. • Nice to have: Azure experience (Terraform, automation). Experience: • Minimum 5 years as a DevSecOps Engineer. • Proven collaboration in agile environments. Soft skills: • Excellent communication skills for both technical and non‑technical audiences. • Proactive mindset and commitment to continuous learning. • Experience in community management, support or communication handling. • Strong team player. Education & requirements: • Degree in Computer Science, IT or related field. • EU citizenship — mandatory. • Fluency in English; knowledge of additional EU languages is an advantage.
