The client is an American multinational company Basic information: Location: 100% remote (from Poland)(hybrid work possible for those interested) Rate: PLN 120-195/hour net + VAT Type of work: B2B contract Duration: 3 months + extensions every 12 months Recruitment process: 1 stage English: B1 Luxmed, MultiSport, equipment provided by the client The project involves transferring dedicated servers (applications) to the cloud (AWS). The ideal candidate should be able to validate the operation of services, their configuration, testing, and ongoing monitoring. Particular emphasis is placed on skills related to launching applications and integrating all necessary components. • Key technologies: Java + AWS • We are looking for people for mid/senior/lead positions The project involves telemetry in the broadest sense. The client currently has approximately 300 Data Centers worldwide from which they collect data: temperature, humidity, and input/output. The throughput is high—about 5 million messages on Kafka per minute. They perform data enrichment, and the data is sent to clients. They maintain approximately 2,000 machines. The project involves migrating part of this infrastructure (1,000 different components) to the AWS cloud. These are Java, Flink, Spark, and Kafka services, as well as databases: Cassandra, Postgres, Oracle, and MongoDB. The project involves writing, testing, validating, and reconfiguring existing services so they run on AWS. The infrastructure is already set up on AWS, and the team needs to verify that everything works properly after the migration.
