Data Engineer

Data Engineer DataMall Do you want to play a key role in implementing the data strategy of NN Life & Pensions and delivering high-quality data products and insights to our stakeholders? Do you enjoy working with the latest technologies in an Agile environment? Then this role could be a great fit for you. What you are going to do In this role, you are responsible for collecting, delivering and managing high-quality data for strategic reporting, financial reporting (IFRS 17 and Solvency II), portals and other consumers. You will work extensively with SQL, PL/SQL, Python and testing tools. With the upcoming migration from SAP BW/HANA to Databricks on the Azure platform, we are looking for someone with a strong learning mindset. Key responsibilities: - Contribute to the implementation of the data strategy and data architecture of NN Life & Pensions - Design, develop and deliver epics and user stories for the development, testing, implementation and management of golden data products in Azure Databricks - Translate business requirements into accessible data solutions and insights - Continuously improve the performance of our data models - Proactively prevent and resolve incidents and issues - Participate in Agile/Scrum sessions together with our business partners Who you will work with The Data Mall department consists of approximately 50 colleagues. Everyone shares a strong passion for data and IT and brings diverse backgrounds and experiences. We work in Agile teams towards shared goals, with a high level of ownership for each team member.
