As a Senior DevOps Engineer – Automation & Cloud Platforms, you will be working for our client, a leading global financial services organization committed to technological innovation and operational excellence. Your expertise will drive automation initiatives that enhance deployment efficiency, security, and resilience across critical platforms, shaping the backbone of our client’s digital transformation journey. Your main responsibilities: • Collaborate with stakeholders to design and implement advanced automation processes for cloud and on-premise environments. • Develop and optimize CI/CD pipelines integrating cutting-edge automation tools and best practices. • Automate manual deployment and operational activities to improve speed, safety, and consistency. • Apply security-by-default principles, including secrets management, privilege controls, and vulnerability assessments. • Monitor system performance, proactively identify bottlenecks, and refine automation workflows for optimal efficiency. • Automate testing procedures to ensure reliable performance of deployed solutions across environments. • Document automation strategies, procedures, and best practices for continuous improvement and knowledge sharing. You're ideal for this role if you have: • 7+ years of experience as a DevOps Engineer or in a similar senior/expert role. • Extensive experience with Ansible automation integrated into Jenkins CI/CD pipelines. • Strong scripting skills (Python, Go, Bash, etc.). • Proven ability to design resilient automation solutions in cloud and hybrid environments. • Solid understanding of security principles in automation processes. • Experience working in Agile teams within a multicultural, international setting. • Excellent problem-solving, analytical skills, and collaborative spirit. • Fluent English communication skills (written and spoken). It is a strong plus if you have: (optional)• Experience with vendor-supported IT services and workflows. • Knowledge in File Transmission products (e.g., IBM SFG/SSP/SEAS/CD). • Familiarity with mainframe (z/OS) and job execution workflows. • Experience with BMC Control-M or similar job scheduling tools.
