In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining and enhancing our Microsoft Azure environment, ensuring it remains performant, secure, and ready for large-scale workloads. Success in this position means being a self-sufficient contributor who can independently manage CI/CD pipelines, automate infrastructure tasks, and actively use AI-driven tools to increase operational efficiency. What you'll do: • Maintain and optimize Microsoft Azure resources, ensuring they meet company standards for performance, security, and cost-effectiveness. • Own and evolve Infrastructure as Code using Bicep and/or Terraform with automated linting, security scanning and CI validation. • Build and maintain CI/CD, take ownership of deployment pipelines, ensuring that software releases are automated, monitored, and stable. • Implement AI-Powered automation, use AI assistants (e.g., GitHub Copilot, LLM-based scripting) to automate repetitive tasks, improve code quality, and accelerate documentation workflows. • Monitor application and infrastructure health, taking the lead on diagnosing and resolving technical issues in both Windows and Linux environments. • Manage containerized workloads - Docker images (Windows/Linux), Azure Kubernetes Service clusters, Azure Container Registry. • Working with development teams to implement Azure best practices and ensure project KPIs and security controls are met. • Support security operations by configuring proactive defences and continuous monitoring to mitigate potential threats. • Regularly review cloud usage to identify areas where automation or configuration changes can bring long-term value to the organization. • Drive automation-first culture using Powershell Qualifications • Experience: 3–5 years of experience in DevOps, System Administration, or Cloud Engineering, with a solid track record in Microsoft Azure. • Technical skills: proficiency in scripting and programming (PowerShell, Python, or C#) with a strong preference for automation over manual work. • Cloud knowledge: solid understanding of Azure services, networking, and cloud security best practices. • Tooling proficiency: practical experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, Azure DevOps Pipelines, GitHub Actions) and hands-on experience with Docker - Azure Container Instances, Azure Container Apps, Kubernetes (AKS) and container registries (ACR). • AI Integration: active interest and experience in using AI tools to enhance daily engineering tasks and work-flow automation. • Platform: comfortable working across both Windows and Linux environments. • Problem-solving: strong analytical skills with the ability to work through complex technical challenges independently. • Education: degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline, or equivalent technical certifications. • Communication: clear English communication skills, both written and verbal, for effective collaboration in a technical environment.
